Due to the worldwide COVID 19 Pandemic, we were not able to celebrate our 161st Anniversary as we usually do; with guests, songs of praise, an afternoon worship service, and a full repass after service. However, we were able to share an anniversary cake with each other while social distancing and preparing for another year of service to the Lord.
Our Missionary Ministry continues the work of Lord through outreach to help those in need despite the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Missionary Ministry purchased and prepared bags with toiletry items to support a partnership between Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association Women's Auxiliary and SAFE, Services to Abused Families. The donations supported families affected by abuse, violence, and families being displaced due to violence in the home.
Antioch Church Family is proud of Sister Darlene Brown who was honored by the Culpeper Police Department with the 2019 Amazing Citizen Award. Police Chief Chris Jenkins honored Sister Brown for her hard work and dedication each year as she spearheads the church's annual "Back to School" bash.
